RELEASE & LEGAL PROGRAMS

LPP is committed to securing the release of those unjustly imprisoned through clemency, compassionate release, and resentencing efforts. Our Early Termination of Supervised Release (ETSR) program helps individuals move forward without the burden of government supervision.

Additionally, we pursue strategic litigation, including amicus briefs, class action suits, and individual claims, to challenge unjust sentencing practices and expand retroactive relief for those who would receive lesser sentences under today’s laws. Our cannabis justice model is driving systemic change, with our legal frameworks now influencing broader reforms, including efforts to decriminalize psychedelics. By closing gaps in justice, LPP ensures that those most impacted by outdated drug policies are not left behind in the movement toward equity and reform.
