Last Prisoner Project's ultimate goal is the full freedom of every drug war prisoner. However, going through the legal system to secure those releases can take time.  Our constituent support initiatives aim to improve the lives of our incarcerated constituents by providing them with financial and emotional support during their time behind bars.

CONSTITUENT

SERVICES

Our constituent services are focused on ensuring individuals who have been negatively impacted by the War on Drugs have the financial support, tools and resources they need to successfully rebuild their lives post-incarceration. Since our launch in 2019 we're proud to have provided over $3,700,000 directly back to the community who needs it most.

REENTRY GRANT PROGRAM

Last Prisoner Project recognizes that constituents returning home from incarceration often lack to the funds to secure housing, transportation, medical care, and other urgent needs.

To that end, our reentry grant program disburses one-time cash grants to participants in our early release programs and their dependents. If you are the dependent or caretaker of a dependent for a currently incarcerated constituent interested in a grant, please message our Reentry Grant Administrator to learn more about the program and eligibility.
